National Fish Passage Program

Following are videos regarding the program that is also underway here in North Carolina being led here by Andy Brown.  Andy is a TU employee working directly with the National Forest Service for the Pisgah and Nantahala Forests. Rather than try to explain the program, I'll let the videos speak for it.

Andy is seeking volunteeers to help identify fish passage barriers at stream and road intersections in the Wilson Creek Wild and Scenic River watershed that need to be replaced with fish friendly stream crossings.  The intensity of this volunteer commitment is fairly high over the next few years, but Andy promises that it will be well worth it.  Please call or email Andy if interested:  abrown@tu.org; (828) 674-1067.
